Celtic and Swansea are reportedly interested in St Mirren starlet Lewis Morgan. The Bhoys should move quickly ahead of other interested clubs.

According to reports from The Scottish Sun, Celtic are interested in signing St Mirren’s highly-rated midfielder Lewis Morgan.
The 21-year-old winger is out of contract at the end of the season. He spent his youth career at Rangers FC before joining St Mirren in 2014. Last season, he scored 10 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions.
The report claims that Premier League Swansea City are interested in signing Morgan, while two Championship clubs – Cardiff and Birmingham – are also monitoring his progress.

According to the Daily Record, Celtic scout Tosh McKinlay has watched Morgan in action several times recently and praised his talents to recruitment chief Lee Congerton.
The Scottish champions will look at him again during the Scotland U-21 match against England in a vital Euro 2019 qualifier at Boro’s Riverside stadium.

It remains to be seen whether the English clubs make a move for the player at all during January or next summer.
A move to the Premier League could be an exciting option (provided Swansea doesn’t get relegated) for the young winger. Celtic should move ahead of the other potential suitors and snap him up as early as January.
Brendan Rodgers has a great track record of developing young talents, and Morgan could take his game to a new level under him. Plus, he could be tempted by Champions League football as well.
