Celtic fancy Antoine Semenyo and have been scouting the Bristol City attacker amid claims Rangers want to sign him.
That’s according to Bristol Live as they claim that Celtic and Rangers have both scouted Semenyo ‘extensively’.
Semenyo is out of contract at the end of the season and whilst there is an option of another year, he looks set to leave Bristol City in the summer.
There have been links to Fenerbahce but it’s now claimed that Semenyo is more likely to stay in British football.
Bournemouth and Crystal Palace both have long-term interest in Semenyo and couldn’t move for the strike it at the end of the season.
Yet it’s Celtic and Rangers who could do battle for Semenyo as both clubs seek striking additions in 2023.

Celtic are expecting to lose striker Giorgos Giakoumakis in 2023 and will need to find a replacement for the Greek hitman.
South Korea forward Cho Gue-sung has been heavily linked of late but Semenyo presents an interesting alternative.
As for Rangers, Alfredo Morelos is in a similar boat to Semenyo – out of contract at the end of the season and potentially moving on.
Antonio Colak needs a supporting striker at Ibrox and Semenyo may tick the right boxes for the Gers.
Sports World Ghana reported last month that Rangers were planning a £5million bid for Semenyo.
Semenyo, 22, was valued at around £20million in January of this year but his contract running down leaves the Robins facing losing him for a bargain price – even with that contract option.
Semenyo went to the World Cup with Ghana but only played 19 minutes.
After impressing so much last season – eight goals and 12 assists in 31 games – Semenyo hasn’t been quite as dazzling this term, bagging just three goals and one assist in 17 games.
Semenyo will still drive major interest though and Celtic look ready to battle Rangers for his signature.
