Celtic have really disappointed on the continent this season.
Hoops ace Scott Brown spoke to reporters following Brendan Rodgers’ comments that his players have a lot to learn at the highest level, admitting that it was tough to hear his manager highlight their weaknesses, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Celtic have been totally dominant domestically this season, and are in the midst of a 67 unbeaten run in the league and cup competitions, whilst their form on the continent has been nothing less than woeful.
The Glasgow giants racked up just three points in their Champions League group, but still managed to qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League, purely because Anderlecht were equally as poor.

Rodgers criticised his team following their defeat to the Belgians at Parkhead last night, suggesting that his group have a long way to go before they can compete at the very highest level, and Scott Brown admitted it was tough to hear, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“Those are always hard words to hear but this is when you have to go and prove everyone wrong. Tuesday was a very disappointing game but we know we can play better than that. It’s the big games that count but we didn’t do that against Anderlecht. We’re into the Europa League now and we’ll just need to see what draw we get. There are some fantastic teams in the hat so we’re looking forward to the draw on Friday.”
Next up for Celtic is a trip to Hibernian on Sunday in the Scottish Premiership, and they will be looking to make it 68 games without losing in all domestic competitions.
