Some Leeds United fans have been reacting after the Polish FA reported that Mateusz Klich has tested positive for Covid.
The midfielder was due to go on international duty over the next fortnight, but he will now have to isolate during that time.
The midfielder was due to face off against England next week, but a potential clash with Leeds teammate Kalvin Phillips is now off the cards.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only case of Covid Leeds have had in their camp. Liam Cooper has been out of action for the past week, and Phil Hay has said that he’s suffering from the same problem, thus, he’s not travelled with Scotland for international duty.
We can only hope that this doesn’t mark the beginning of a spread through Thorp Arch and Elland Road, but as you can imagine, Leeds fans were rather concerned after hearing the news.
We can only hope that Klich recovers swiftly and safely and is back out on the pitch with no problems sooner rather than later.
