Rangers conceded late on against Dundee United on an otherwise satisfying afternoon for the league leaders

Neil McCann says Rangers need to address the manner in which they conceded against Dundee United.
Although Steven Gerrard’s men ran out convincing 4-1 winners, the Ibrox manager will have been unimpressed with the visitors’ late consolation goal from Marc McNulty.
It was only the ninth goal shipped by the league leaders in 30 Premiership matches this season, but on the heels of the three conceded against Royal Antwerp it has given Rangers something to think about.
McCann, who won three league titles during his time at the club, believes it’s an issue that cannot be ignored.

Speaking on Rangers TV after the match, he said: “My worry was, it’s another goal through the middle of the Rangers team.
“So if you look at it from a tactical point of view, that needs to be addressed again. That can’t be ignored.
“The good thing for Rangers is the game was done. It was done in terms of three points in the bag, but it’s just striving for perfection every time.”
United had the better of the opening half hour, and Ianis Hagi’s opener after 35 minutes came against the run of play.
Former Scotland boss Shelley Kerr told Rangers TV: “There’s no doubt about it, they (Dundee United) started the better team.

“They had a few chances, but I think when the third goal went in so early in the second half the game was over.
“As Neil said, the chance that Dundee United got in the second half and them scoring late on, that takes a wee bit of the shine off it.
“But let’s not forget, an epic win midweek, and it’s another one ticked off. That’s the way the manager will be looking at it.”
