Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported they’ve offered €30m and Davinson Sanchez for Cristian Romero.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Spurs have offered Sanchez and a hefty fee for a defender, reportedly making a similar offer for Jules Kounde earlier this month.
Kounde turned Spurs down, but it seems as though they may have a better chance of landing Romero, who is reportedly open to a move to north London, so long as a ‘super club’ doesn’t come in for him.
As you can imagine, Spurs fans had plenty to say about this swap deal rumour, and by and large, many Spurs supporters are thinking that this offer could be accepted.
To be fair, Sanchez plus €30m is a good offer for Romero, but with Atalanta valuing him at €60m, they have a decision to make.
It seems as though Spurs are very keen on Romero, and supporters believe that this offer could be the one that gets accepted.
