Arsenal fans have witnessed some impressive performances from the youngster

It’s been a frustrating season for Arsenal, but one of the positives to have emerged has been Bukayo Saka.
Having signed a new contract last summer, the 19-year-old has established himself as a key part of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Arsenal Player of the Month awards in December and January were his reward for a series of impressive performances, and he has now accrued four England caps.
While it’s clear that the youngster is capable of being an integral part of Arsenal’s squad for some time to come, what’s less apparent is his best position.

Arteta is able to deploy him in a number of different areas, and in his most recent appearance against Benfica last week he started in a three behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Martin Ødegaard and Emile Smith-Rowe.
Gunners legend Ray Parlour has paid tribute to Saka, and speculated as to what role might suit him best.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Parlour said: “Saka’s point of view, where’s his best position? He can play anywhere.
“He starts on the right hand side of the three, behind the striker, and then there’s a couple of substitutions and he’s playing left-back.
“You don’t see many players who can turn it around.

“You used to play, if you were playing right hand side you were more right-footed, and now it’s gone the other way. You want to cut inside and probably have shots on goal etc etc.
“His all-round game, he can play centre midfield. The only position he can’t play – I haven’t seen him play, but I’m guessing he can’t play – is centre-half.”
Arsenal are 10th in the Premier League, but the 3-1 away win against high-flying Leicester on Sunday will give Arteta’s men confidence ahead of Saturday’s game against Burnley.
