New York Giants running back Cameron Skattebo isn’t worried about botched backflip at Fanatics Fest 2026.
Last season, New York Giants fans were handed terrible news when Cameron Skattebo suffered brutal injuries that kept him on the sidelines for nearly half of the regular season.
Skattebo has since recovered from his injuries, but he nearly reaggravated them when the Giants running back messed up a backflip on stage during an appearance at Fanatics Fest 2026.

Skattebo’s clip has gone viral, as many have urged Giants head coach John Harbaugh to punish the RB for his reckless stunt.
However, before Harbaugh could address the failed backflip, Skattebo decided to quickly clear things up at Fanatics Fest itself.
“I’m gonna address the elephant [in the room], I will not hurt myself before the season,” Skattebo stated with confidence.
The Giants RB also responded to ‘brain-dead’ accusations from NFL fans on social media.
“I totally enjoy that part. I think I less enjoy the brain-dead kind of guy. But it is what it is. I mean, the New York people love it.
“So, I’m just gonna keep being me, and if they wanna say I’m brain-dead and I don’t have no brain, then, who cares! F___ it!” Skattebo added.
While Skattebo is confident he’ll be 100% fit before the new NFL season, Giants fans simply do not want him risking his fitness.
Avoiding unnecessary backflips at events would be a great starting step for Skattebo as he’s a key member of Harbaugh’s team.
