New York Giants running back Cameron Skattebo has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York City has featured a plethora of athletes this weekend, including New York Giants running back Cameron Skattebo.

Skattebo has been in rehab after suffering a fractured fibula, dislocated ankle, and ruptured deltoid ligament. He has seemingly recovered well. In fact, Skattebo attempted a backflip at Fanatics Fest 2026.

Skattebo’s backflip instantly went viral on social media, but not because it was an epic landing. If anything, the Giants RB nearly suffered another injury before the start of the new NFL season.

John Harbaugh should punish Cameron Skattebo, says Skip Bayless

The viral clip shows that Skattebo messed up the backflip and landed on all fours while barely avoiding another injury.

Upon seeing the video, Giants fans instantly called out Skattebo for his reckless stunt. Even NFL analyst Skip Bayless urged Giants head coach John Harbaugh to punish the RB for this unnecessary backflip.

“If I’m John Harbaugh and the Giants, I fine Skattebo. So season-risking reckless,” Bayless wrote on X.

Last season, Skattebo missed nine regular-season games because of injuries. In simple terms, he was out for half a season, and if he had reaggravated his injuries, the Giants could land in trouble.

To ensure this doesn’t happen from such a stunt, coach Harbaugh must listen to Bayless and impose a heavy fine on Skattebo.
