Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has sent a message to Calum Chambers on Instagram after the defender made a surprise move to Aston Villa on Thursday.
Villa announced on their official website last night that they have signed Chambers from Premier League rivals Arsenal.
The 27-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, was set to become a free agent at the end of the season.
The transfer came as a surprise, as there was no noise whatsoever that Villa were close to or even keen on signing Chambers in the January transfer window.
Arsenal midfielder Xhaka, who himself has been linked with a move to AS Roma, has sent a message to Chambers on Instagram, as you can see below.
Arsenal will not miss Calum Chambers
In our view, Arsenal will not miss Chambers.

The English defender was a peripheral figure at Arsenal and was unlikely to get much playing time under manager Mikel Arteta in the coming weeks and months.
Chambers made one start and two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup and played twice in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.
Injuries and competition for places affected Chambers at Arsenal, and we hope that he gets to play regularly at Villa.
