And the reaction Westwood got after the match from Burnley fans on Twitter was in stark contrast to how Villa supporters normally treated him.
Westwood was often criticised at Villa, and he was even booed by his own fans at Villa Park on occasion.
When Westwood left Steve Bruce’s side he said that he wanted to feel more appreciated at Burnley, and he appears to have got his wish so far.

Westwood has now played twice for Burnley, after coming on as a substitute against Watford last weekend.
Villa are yet to win a game since Westwood left, and were beaten by Ipswich Town in their most recent outing.
