Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has raved about his Gunners teammate Martin Odegaard.

Martin Odegaard has signed a new contract with Arsenal and has committed his long-term future to the North London club.

Odegaard is one of the best and most important players at the Gunners.

And Bukayo Saka has raved about the 24-year-old Norway international attacking midfielder.

Saka has noted the kind of leader Odegaard is.

The England international winger has also said that the former Real Madrid player has “unbelievable quality”.

Saka told Arsenal’s official website about Odegaard: “He’s really important, not just as a player, as a leader as well.

“He leads in a different way but I love it and respect it.

“We all know he’s got unbelievable quality, creating goals and scoring goals and being the captain that we all love.

“I don’t mind being stuck with him! I’m happy for him and he deserves the new contract.”

Martin Odegaard a big player for Arsenal

In our view, Martin Odegaard is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and is a big figure at Arsenal.

The 24-year-old did not have the best of times at Real Madrid, but the attacking midfielder has flourished and got better at Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta.

Odegaard is not the most vocal of players on the pitch, but he leads quietly and lets his football do the talking.

The Norwegian star has made 92 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The playmaker has scored 25 goals and given 13 assists in those games.
