Arsenal announced the new deal for the Norway international attacking midfielder on their official website this morning.
The Gunners have said that the 24-year-old former Real Madrid player has put pen to paper on “a new long-term contract”.
Pablo Mari played with Odegaard at Arsenal.
The 30-year-old central defender is now at Italian club AC Monza.
The Spanish defender left Arsenal permanently in the summer of 2023.

In our view, Martin Odegaard is one of the best and most important players for Arsenal.
The 24-year-old playmaker has been superb for the Gunners over the years and is now the club captain.
Odegaard is a very silky footballer who has grown and developed a lot under manager Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
The Norway international did not have the best of times at Real Madrid, but he is now flourishing at Arsenal.
And he is playing in the UEFA Champions League with the Gunners as well this season.
Odegaard has made 92 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The playmaker has scored 25 goals and given 13 assists in those games.
