Joe Cole has said on JOE’s YouTube channel that Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will make it hard for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri this weekend.

Euro 2020 final

Saka, a rising star for Arsenal, could start for England in their Euro 2020 final against Italy this weekend.

Chelsea left-back Emerson is also set to start for Italy at Wembley Stadium in London.

Leonardo Spinazzola would have started the final for the Italians had he not suffered a long-term injury against Belgium.

What Joe Cole thinks

Cole said on JOE’s YouTube channel: “I think Saka will give Emerson so much problems.

“Emerson is a good player, but he has not played all year. He has come into the tournament. I think Saka will run at him and twist and turn him off that right side.”

Bukayo Saka v Emerson Palmieri

Saka is a very quick and tricky winger who is doing well at the moment and is an asset for England.

The 19-year-old was arguably the best player for Arsenal last season.

The teenager has simply taken his form from last season to the England camp at the European Championship.

Cole is right about Emerson. The Chelsea no.33 did not play much last season.

The 26-year-old played 89 minutes in the Premier League and 218 minutes in the Champions League for the Blues.

But, we should not forget that Emerson is in the Italy squad because he is a good player.

Italy manager Roberto Mancini would not have included the left-back in his Euro 2020 squad if he did not think that he could replace Spinazzola if he had to.
