Speaking to reporters after his side’s 6-0 Scottish Cup victory on Saturday, Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers shared the message he gave to his side before they took to the field, in an attempt to motivate them and to help prevent complacency creeping in, as quoted by Sky Sports.

The Glasgow giants have been in sensational form domestically this season.
They have taken 70 points from a possible 72 available in the league, and have already secured their first silverware of the season, after beating Aberdeen in the final of the BetFred Cup.
And after Saturday’s win, Rodgers’ men have now booked their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup, as they chase what would be a historic domestic treble.

The Celtic boss spoke to reporters, and elaborated on the importance of the cup competition for his club, sharing the message he told his side before they played their quarter-final match, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“I said to the players before the game that the Scottish Cup is synonymous with Celtic – 36 times the club has won the trophy. My memories as a child growing up, a lot of it was based around the Scottish Cup. We want to make it 37.”

The former Liverpool boss has been a revelation since his appointment as manager at Parkhead, and the only area where they can undoubtedly still improve is their performances in Europe.
