Ryan Sessegnon has praised his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Djed Spence on Instagram, after his recent International outing.
The 22-year-old earned more minutes on international duty for England U21s this past week than he has done since moving to Spurs during the 2022 summer transfer window.
England U21s recorded wins over Italy and Germany – with the Nottingham Forest promotion-winning star starting the first match in Pescara.

Sessegnon also started against the Italians, and unlike Spence, he came off the bench during their 3-1 win over Germany also.
Nonetheless, Spence posted on his IG that it has been a ‘successful’ International week for him.
In the comments section, he was praised by a number of players, including Derby County’s Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Spurs’ rising star Dane Scarlett, whilst Sessegnon praised him and said ‘Bravo, Spence’.
ONE MINUTE OF ACTION
One minute – That has been the not-so-magic number for Spence so far following his transfer to Spurs in the summer.
When he was promoted whilst on-loan at Nottingham Forest, he was riding a wave and on cloud nine.
That elevation, which wasn’t expected, saw him go from being loaned out by Middlesbrough last summer to another Championship club, to 12 months later signing for a team in the Champions League.
But whilst all of that looks rosy on the outside, the fact of the matter is that he has only earned one minute of football this term and it has to increase during these next few months, or else he needs to look for a loan in January.
