Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur losing to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Tottenham suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool in North London this evening.

Mohamed Salah scored twice for the Reds in the first half.

Hosts Spurs stepped up their game in the second half and scored though Harry Kane.

Conte’s side could have added to their tally late in the game.

Tottenham were also denied by the frame of the Liverpool goal in the match.

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Carragher has defended Conte for his playing style.

Carragher has said that if Tottenham fans are not happy with Conte’s approach, then they should blame club chairman Daniel Levy for hiring the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss in the first place.

The Sky Sports pundit has also said that Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is not at the level that Conte would like.

Carragher has noted the impact that Conte has already made at Tottenham, underlining that Spurs finished in the top four of the Premier League table last season and have got them into the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
