Brighton and Hove manager Graham Potter has said that star midfielder Yves Bissouma could feature this weekend against Arsenal.
Speaking to the press via Sussex Live, the Seagulls boss revealed that the Malian dynamo is progressing well. Brighton could be without as many as six players ahead of their clash with the Gunners.
Potter has already confirmed that Steven Alzate and Danny Welbeck will miss this Saturday’s game. Bissouma missed Monday’s derby with Crystal Palace, but there is a chance the midfielder could return for Brighton to face Arsenal.
Indeed, the 25-year-old ace will be a huge boost to Brighton’s chances of getting something over the Gunners if he is declared fit for the weekend. The Seagulls have a decent record against the north London side in recent years.
Arsenal themselves will be without a key midfielder in Granit Xhaka. But aside from the Swiss international, Mikel Arteta’s side are fully fit and raring to go.
A win would be massive to the Gunners revival in recent weeks. Yet on social media, Arsenal fans are not sold on what the Brighton manager had to say about Bissouma.

Supporters believe that the midfielder is indeed fit. And that Bissouma will start for the north London side on the south coast this Saturday.
Here’s what some Arsenal supporters had to say on Twitter about Bissouma potentially starting for Brighton…
