Liverpool fans are pleased that both Ozan Kabak and Roberto Firmino should be fit for their clash with RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
The Athletic say that the Liverpool duo, who both were unavailable last weekend against Fulham, are expected back in midweek.
That should boost Jurgen Klopp’s options both in defence and attack, in what looks like a crucial game at Anfield.
And Liverpool fans are delighted with the news that Firmino and Kabak should be available.
Kabak has endured a difficult start to his Liverpool career, but his return means that the Reds may be able to shift Fabinho into midfield.
If Kabak does start at the back then he is likely to partner Nat Phillips in Liverpool’s defence.
Firmino, meanwhile, has come in for criticism this term – but his experience could be key in such a pressurised game.
Liverpool go into the contest with a healthy 2-0 lead, but if Leipzig do grab the first goal, then the Reds could find things tough – with their confidence surely fragile after such a poor run of form.
