Ozan Kabak and Roberto Firmino should be fit enough to play for Liverpool on Wednesday evening, the Athletic report.

Firmino and Kabak both missed out on featuring for Liverpool yesterday, as the Reds fell to a 1-0 defeat to Fulham.

The Reds duo were both nursing injuries, but their problems are only thought to be minor.

Kabak and Firmino are now expected return for Liverpool ahead of their game against RB Leipzig, in what looks a major boost.

Firmino may not have been in the best of form this season, but his experience could be key in helping Liverpool deal with the pressure of a Champions League night at Anfield.

The Reds may be 2-0 up in the contest on aggregate but, given their recent form, if Leipzig do score first it could become a very nervy contest.

Kabak may also be in with a chance of featuring, even though he hasn’t looked rock solid since his arrival.

If Klopp wants to play Fabinho in midfield, Kabak looks a likely starter, as Rhys Williams struggled at the back against Fulham yesterday.
