Arsenal may have signed Leandro Trossard in the January transfer window, but there’s still a feeling that they need more attacking depth in their squad.

Indeed, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli both being targeted by overly-aggressive defenders in recent weeks, the Gunners could do with some depth in order to protect their first-choice stars.

So, where should Arsenal turn? Well, in our view, there’s one player that will soon be on the market who would be right up the Gunners’ street.

We’re talking about Manor Solomon.

The Israeli winger has made headlines over the past two weeks with his performances for Fulham catching the eye. He’s just come back from a long-term injury, and he’s immediately begun to make his mark in the Premier League with two goals in his last two games for the Cottagers.

Solomon may be shining for Fulham, but he is only on loan in west London and come the end of the season, he will have just six months left on his Shakhtar Donetsk deal, meaning the ‘wonderful’ winger will likely be able to move for a bargain price.

Why should Arsenal care about Solomon?

Well, as you’ll remember, in the January transfer window, Arsenal were incredibly keen on Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, and there’s reason to believe that Solomon is even better than the Ukrainian.

Not only is he making more of a mark in the Premier League, during their time together at Shakhtar, Solomon was often the player picked to start down the left wing ahead of Mudryk, and when you look at the stats in the league and the Champions League, the pair had a very similar impact in Ukraine.

His pace, directness and age profile suit Mikel Arteta’s side to a tee.

Arsenal have been keen on Solomon in the past, bidding £17m for his services a couple of years ago, but now, after showing more interest in players from Shakhtar and after Solomon has proven himself in the Premier League, this move makes more sense than ever before.
