Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Nile John delivered a phenomenal display against Manchester City’s Under-23 side earlier today.
What’s the story?
Well, the 18-year-old almost singlehandedly fired Tottenham to three points in the Premier League 2.
John scored two goals and assisted the other as Spurs ran riot at Hotspur Way, up against some of the best youngsters in England at Manchester City.
Remarkably, the teenager now has seven goals in 13 Premier League 2 appearances this season, while also providing three assists.
For a centre-midfielder, that is a fantastic return.
One Spurs fan said John is better than both Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli after his masterclass against the Citizens.
Another supporter credited Yaya Toure, as the Ivorian has spent time working at Tottenham’s Academy in recent weeks.
Tottenham have a gem in Nile John

At this rate, we’d be surprised if Antonio Conte doesn’t give John his Premier League debut before the season is over.
The England Under-19 international is on fire right now.
Interestingly, Football London believe Tottenham view John as a potential superstar, if he continues to develop at the rate he is.
John has already made his first-team debut for Spurs in the UEFA Europa League under José Mourinho, and regularly partakes in first-team training at Hotspur Way.

Nuno Espirito Santo also gave him some first-team action in the UEFA Conference League.
Keep an eye on his development, as he looks set for the top.
