Spurs continued their pre-season friendlies with a 3-1 win against League One side MK Dons.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side impressed against the Milton Keynes club as a strong Tottenham side breezed past the third-tier side. Heung-min Son, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura were the scorers on the night.
With Chelsea and Arsenal coming up next in the Mind Charity Series, it was a good run out for the north London side before their biggest pre-season matches this summer.
A number of players have impressed so far this pre-season for Spurs.
Teenage striker Dane Scarlett has cemented his status as a star in the making, whilst the aforementioned Alli and Lucas continue to prove to Nuno that they have a place in this squad for next season.
Spurs fans have been impressed with Bergwijn in pre-season
And another player who was in fine form last night was Dutch attacker Steven Bergwijn. The £27m signing from PSV 18 months ago has had a mixed spell with Spurs since his move to England.

However, the 23-year-old attacker looked his best last night as the winger tormented the MK Dons defence with driving runs and teasing shots.
Moreover, supporters on social media loved what they were seeing from the attacker. Bergwijn is a player of immense potential. But under Jose Mourinho, the winger’s progression faltered.
Yet signs under Nuno look different, and the Netherlands international is eager to impress under the Portuguese coach and to prove his worth to the team.
Here’s what some Spurs fans had to say on Twitter about Bergwijn’s pre-season performance against MK Dons…
