Danhausen surprisingly became heavily involved with the New York Knicks during their path to the 2026 NBA Finals’ triumph.

It began when the Knicks were up against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are supported by another WWE superstar, The Miz.

Danhausen ‘cursed’ the Cavaliers to help the Knicks win that matchup before they went on to secure their first championship since 1973 by beating the San Antonio Spurs.

Now, Peter Rosenberg has said how Danhausen was ‘beside himself’ following his involvement with the Knicks.

Danhausen ‘beside himself’ after role with New York Knicks

The WWE talent has been invited to attend NBA games at Madison Square Garden and was pictured alongside some celebrities, such as Cardi B.

Even John Cena has reacted to Danhausen’s involvement with the Knicks.

Meanwhile, speaking on his podcast, Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, the media personality revealed: “I saw him [Danhausen] the other day, he’s like completely sort of beside himself that it’s [involvement with the Knicks] kind of played out the way that it has.

“He is going to be on fire at Fanatics Fest in New York. I’m sure he’s gonna sign like 90 million autographs that weekend.”

Danhausen’s stock has certainly risen in the mainstream media, despite the fact that he very rarely wrestles on WWE TV.

However, the company have historically loved it when their wrestlers are able to crossover into the mainstream to help bring more eyes to what they do.

It is now up to TKO and Triple H to ensure they are able to properly capitalise on the popularity Danhausen has gained thanks to his role with the Knicks.

Whether that means having him wrestle more, appear at Premium Live Events, or something else, fans will have to wait and see.

But whatever happens, let’s hope Danhausen’s stock continues to rise and we see more and more of him in both the wrestling world and in other worlds like the NBA.
