Everton reportedly want to sign Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

According to The Daily Star (print edition, page 44, Sunday, June 10, 2018), Premier League club Everton are interested in signing Gibson from Championship side Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).
The Daily Mail has credited West Ham United, Leicester City and Southampton with interest in the 25-year-old, who has been on the books of Boro his entire professional club football career so far.
Gibson, though, has stated that he is not bothered about speculation on his future.
The Middlesbrough defender told Gazette Live about speculation on his future: “It’s not something I worry about. I have a football agent, I know the football club, I would like to think they would be honest with you if it was happening. Until that happens I am none the wiser at the minute.
“I read the papers the same as you do, I am no different to you – a lot of it’s not true, some of it might be true, but there’s a lot of things that need to happen and nothing has happened as of yet.”

Good signing for Everton?
Gibson is a very good and solid defender who has played in the Premier League with Middlesbrough.
The former England Under-21 international would be a good signing for Everton, who need a centre-back in his mid-20s in order to be successful in the coming years.
It would be wise of the Toffees to make an offer for Gibson and see if Middlesbrough are willing to sell him in the summer transfer window.
