Everton reportedly want Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.

Ben Gibson is one of the best defenders in the Championship, and there is no surprise that West Ham United, Southampton and Leicester City all have been linked with the Middlesbrough star.
According to The Daily Mail, Premier League trio West Ham, Leicester and Southampton are interested in securing the services of the Middlesbrough defender in the summer transfer window.

The Daily Star (print edition, page 44, Sunday, June 10, 2018), though, has reported that Everton are favourites to sign the 25-year-old defender.
It has been reported that Gibson is ready to leave Middlesbrough this summer, and that Everton are favourites and could make him new manager Marco Silva’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The report has also claimed that the former England Under-21 international, who has been on the books of Boro his entire professional club football career so far, is valued at £20 million.

Quality footballer
Gibson is a very good defender who has played in the Premier League before and would be a smart signing for Everton.
The Toffees do need young and capable centre-backs in their team, and the Boro side would be a good addition to Silva’s team at Goodison Park.
