After West Ham United drew 1-1 to Aston Villa at the London Stadium. Ben Foster said that David Moyes was going about things which would inevitably get him the sack.
The £62,000-a-week manager has been speculated with being given his marching orders with Middlesborough boss Michael Carrick reportedly attracting interest from the Hammers as a potential replacement. While Carrick did seemingly decline the potential offer judging by his response to it, the ex-Everton boss’ position still remains under threat as his side sit at 17th place.
And after West Ham dropped points once again in their clash against Aston Villa, Ben Foster said David Moyes could get the sack and it could very well be down to his own undoing.
Ben Foster makes David Moyes claim after West Ham vs Aston Villa
Dave Watson, who revealed that he was at the contest talked about how pedestrian the hosts were, how they barely pressed the visitors during the game and were lucky not to end up on the losing side.
Reacting to his analysis, Ben Foster was taken aback and commented on how David Moyes could get the chop from West Ham if he runs the ship as he did against Aston Villa.
“There’s a lot of unrest at West Ham at the minute, there’s a lot of talk about David Moyes’ future. These are the little details which will get you sacked as the manager”, he said on his YouTube channel.

Foster continued, “When you listen to that and you say, ‘Emi Martinez had the ball at his feet for 2 minutes in the first half!’ That will get you sacked. When the fans are there, 60,000 of them turn up and they’re watching their team just sit and stand there.”
“Especially at home! A full house! You’re not playing Man City. You’re not playing Man United or Arsenal. You’re playing against Aston Villa!”
Ben Foster may well be proven right as David Moyes will have to ensure his West Ham side shows bravery in their pursuit for Premier League survival against sides such as Aston Villa in particular or risk getting sacked.
