Dennis te Kloese has dismissed rumours about Leeds United moving for Feyenoord manager, Arne Slot.
The Rotterdam club’s General Manager says that he hasn’t heard anything from Leeds as links to Slot persist, and he’s also confident that the Whites won’t have used any underhanded tactics to speak to Slot without Feyenoord’s permission.
Of course, Leeds have a decent working relationship with the Dutch club after signing Luis Sinisterra and Crysencio Summerville from the Eredivisie leaders in recent years, and Te Kloese believes Leeds won’t have gone behind anyone’s backs to speak to Slot.

Leeds not in Slot talks
Te Kloese gave an update on his manager.
“I have not heard anything from Leeds. Neither officially nor unofficially. I also know Leeds as a correct club, so I don’t believe they are playing this behind our backs. Last summer the transfer of Luis Sinisterra also went in a very neat, correct way,” He said – via Voetbal International.
Good reputation
While Leeds may not be the most beloved club in England amongst fans, it looks like they’ve garnered quite a good reputation in Europe for being a club that does things properly.
Te Kloese says Leeds wouldn’t go behind his back to get Slot, and it’s good to see that level of trust between two clubs.
Leeds seemingly built quite a good relationship with Feyenoord when signing Sinisterra, and that could help them get hold of their manager – should they wish to.
As Te Kloese says, Leeds have not engaged in conversations about Slot so far, but, as we all know, Sporting Directors can often bend the truth when speaking about potential departures from their club.
It will be interesting to see if this story goes anywhere, but, as of yet, it looks like Leeds are yet to make their move for the Feyenoord boss.
