Ben White has agreed personal terms with Arsenal, according to The Guardian.
What’s the story?
Arsenal want to sign White, and it seems that the Gunners will be successful in that quest.
The Brighton and Hove Albion defender is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have made a second bid for the former Leeds United loanee.
As per the terms, Arsenal will pay the Seagulls an initial £45 million plus £5 million in add-ons.
Brighton have yet to respond to the offer.
Mikel Arteta’s side made a bid of £40 million for the 23-year-old last month, but it was turned down.
Good transfer deal for Arsenal?
The Guardian‘s claim that Arsenal are ‘confident’ of signing White suggests that it is only a matter of time before the deal goes through.
The 23-year-old is with the England squad at the Euro 2020 finals at the moment.
The defender will be a replacement for David Luiz at the Gunners.

The former Leeds loanee – described as “fantastic” by Arsenal legend Ian Wright on ITV (7:10pm, June 6, 2021) – can also play at right-back and in midfield.
White is only 23, meaning that there is room for him to grow and improve even further.
Arsenal could be about to sign a gem in White.
