Matthew Upson has told BBC Sport that Leeds United star Stuart Dallas does not get enough credit.
The former Arsenal and West Ham United central defender has been imposed by Dallas’s versatility.
The BBC pundit made the comments while watching Dallas in action for Leeds against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
Leeds lost the Premier League game against Spurs 2-1.
Praise for Leeds star Dallas
Upson told BBC Sport: “Whenever I see Stuart Dallas play, I look at the position he should be on the line up but then I see him pop up in midfield, arriving in the box.
“He can play anywhere, I don’t think he gets enough credit for how good a player he is.”

James Milner 2.0
Dallas is a very versatile player, and, in our view, he is likes James Milner of Liverpool.
Milner is a very versatile player who can play pretty much anywhere on a football pitch.
The former Leeds and Newcastle United star can operate in midfield and in defence.

In our view, Milner could even play upfront or in goal if he has to.
Dallas, who earns £53,000 per week (Salary Sport), is similar.
Now, we do not think that the Northern Ireland international is at the level of Milner.
Yet.
But, in our opinion, Dallas is similar and can do a very good job wherever he plays.
And he is consistent.
Just like Milner.
Dallas can operate in central midfield, on the wing or as a full-back.
