Bayern Munich made it ten Bundesliga titles in a row this season as the Bavarian giants once again breezed to silverware in the German top-flight, and to add more misery to those in the division, the club now reportedly want to sign Sadio Mane.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Julian Nagelsmann’s side are favourites to sign Mane this summer, with the Liverpool attacker set to leave the Premier League giants with Bayern already asserting themselves at the front of the queue.

With Bayern already busy in the transfer market and multiple new names set to join the club and some famous faces likely to depart, what could Munich’s potential starting XI for look like next season amid what might be the club’s biggest summer in years?

Noussair Mazraoui starts at right-back in exciting Bayern defence

Mane aside, Bayern are set to bring in multiple players this summer, and Noussair Mazraoui is a name that has already been signed and confirmed by the club, with the Moroccan joining from Ajax on a free signing.
With Alphonso Davies and Lucas Hernandez having fantastic seasons, the Bayern pair remain in defence with Manuel Neuer once again starting in goal, with the German goalkeeping legend recently signing a new deal.
Whilst Dayot Upamecano had a shaky first season with Bayern, the 22-year-old did improve greatly in the latter stages of the campaign, and in our predicted XI, the Frenchman keeps his spot in central defence in hope that his sophomore year plays out better.
Ilkay Gundogan partners Joshua Kimmich in central midfield

Bayern’s midfield even without new signings is rather incredible with options ranging from Joshua Kimmich to Leon Goretzka to Marcel Sabitzer, and whilst Ajax star Ryan Gravenberch is set to sign for the club, we have chosen Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan to start in the second slot.
The German international is reportedly a target for Bayern this summer, and whilst Arsenal are also said to be chasing Gundogan, the Bundesliga giants could be an outstanding option for the newly-crowned Premier League champion.
With the midfielder in the prime of his career, Gundogan could form an exciting partnership with Kimmich, who is arguably Bayern’s most technical player and one of the best in his position in world football.
Sadio Mane replaces Serge Gnabry as Christopher Nkunku leads the line

In any other year, Mane joining Bayern would be the German club’s biggest summer move of the window, yet with Robert Lewandowski set to leave Bavaria, the honour belongs to the Polish international.
The record-breaking Bundesliga striker will be a huge loss for Bayern after everything Lewandowski has done for the club, and with Serge Gnabry also set to leave for a reported £34m with Arsenal also interested, Nagelsmann needs plenty of firepower this summer.
Hence why in our predicted XI, Mane is joined by Bundesliga’s 21/22 Player of the Year Christopher Nkunku, because of course Bayern would sign the nation’s best player and keep their monopoly on the German football market firmly in their grip.
With Thomas Muller off the back of his best season in years and Leroy Sane bagging 14 goals and 15 assists last campaign, Bayern’s front-four could easily be one of the scariest in European football if they manage to sign both Mane and Nkunku.
