Bayern Munich are reportedly working on a move to sign rumoured Liverpool target Karim Adeyemi, with Borussia Dortmund still the favourites to land the German international.
According to Kicker via Forbes, the Bavarian side are looking at the 20-year-old striker as a potential summer signing after initially dropping their interest in Adeyemi, with the forward once a member of Bayern’s academy.

Whilst Dortmund remain the most likely side to sign Adeyemi this summer with Liverpool’s interest still fairly strong as reported by Bild, Bayern’s new transfer plans for the RB Salzburg star complicate matters.
With Robert Lewandowski’s future with Bayern now up in the air, a replacement could be needed for the reigning Bundesliga champions this summer, much to the dismay of both Dortmund and Liverpool.
Moreover, as reported by Bild, Bayern could afford Salzburg’s asking price of €45m (£38m) for Adeyemi, a fee that Dortmund are working behind the scenes on lowering ahead of the summer transfer window.
Indeed, Bayern’s interest could throw a spanner in the works for Dortmund, and for Liverpool, the resurgence of the German side in the race for Adeyemi is a hammer blow for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Adeyemi is on track to become one of the top strikers in world football, with Salzburg manager Matthias Jaissle labelling Adeyemi as ‘the perfect attacker’, yet for Liverpool and Dortmund, Bayern’s revived interest is a problem.
With the financial power and reputation to entice Adeyemi, Bayern could land the striker as a replacement for Lewandowski should the Polish international leave this summer, a move that would be a diaster for Liverpool and Dortmund.
