Bayern Munich are planning to make a bid for Tottenham Hotspur summer transfer target Konrad Laimer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that German champions Bayern are preparing to make an opening bid of €18-20 million (£15.40-£17.11m) for the RB Leipzig midfielder.
Bild reported in April that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham are keen on signing the 24-year-old Austria international in the summer transfer window.
Bayern Munich or Tottenham Hotspur for Konrad Laimer?
In our opinion, Bayern would be more appealing to Laimer than Tottenham.

Bayern are the biggest club in Germany who regularly win the Bundesliga and compete in the Champions League year after year.
Now, of course, Tottenham are a big club and the Premier League is a very rich domestic league, but the chance to play for Bayern does not come very often for any player.
Laimer is a central midfielder by trade, but the 24-year-old has operated as a right-winger on occasions this season.
The RB Leipzig star has made 14 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
Laimer has scored four goals and given four assists in those games.
