West Ham United should consider a move for the Dutchman this summer.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has begun his summer transfer business in earnest at the London Stadium, bringing in a whole host of new faces including Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop and club record signing Felipe Anderson.
Even the most pessimistic of Hammers fans would be hard pushed to say that this transfer window has been anything other than an outstanding success thus far, but there is one key area that could still be improved.
West Ham are in desperate need of a proven goalscorer, and with this in mind they should consider a move for Sporting Lisbon hitman Bas Dost, who could be available on a free transfer this summer.

And what a signing the Dutchman could be for the Hammers on a free.
Dost, 29, was in sizzling form for Sporting last season, scoring 34 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions.

Standing at 6ft 5in tall, the Holland international is incredibly strong in the air, and he could act as a fantastic focal point for West Ham to build their attacking play through.
He is obviously a superb finisher too, having scored 195 goals in 370 career appearances.
Although Dost is available on a free transfer at the moment, Sporting will likely seek some kind of compensation for his signature, but West Ham should not hesitate to bring him to the London Stadium nevertheless.
Having the Holland international lined up alongside the likes of Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko really will be a tantalising prospect for Hammers fans.
