Barcelona goalkeeper Neto has responded to Leeds United star Rodrigo’s latest post on Instagram by calling him a “phenomenon”.
Rodrigo stepped up his recovery from a groin injury by turning out for the Leeds Under-23 side against their Wolverhampton Wanderers counterparts on Friday.
The Spain international, who can operate as a strike or as a winger, has expressed his delight on Instagram at playing on Friday.
The 29-year-old is now ready for the Premier League game between West Ham United and Leeds at London Stadium next Monday evening.
Neto played with Rodrigo at Valencia, and the 31-year-old Barcelona goalkeeper has responded to his post on Instagram by calling him a ‘Fenomeno’, which when translated from Spanish means ‘phenomenon’.
Boost for Leeds United
Rodrigo joined Leeds from Valencia in the summer of 2020 and has established himself as an important player for the team.

The Spaniard is able to play out wide or in a more central attacking position, and him returning to the team will enhance Leeds’s chances of picking up all three points against West Ham in London.
According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old has made 12 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Whites so far this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.
