
Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have given their take on Twitter on the prospect of Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo turning out for the Under-23 side against their Wolverhampton Wanderers counterparts today.
The Leeds Under-23 side will take on their Wolves counterparts at Aggborough Stadium in Premier League 2 at 1pm today.
Phillips and Rodrigo are important players in the first team, but the defensive midfielder and the attacker have been suffering from injuries.
While Phillips has been on the sidelines due to a calf problem, Rodrigo has been out since the end of the January because of a groin injury.
The duo will be looking to build up their fitness ahead of the Premier League game against West Ham United next Monday evening.
According to WhoScored, Phillips has provided two assists in 18 Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
Rodrigo, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, has made 12 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for the Whites so far this campaign, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
