Dean Saunders has stated that Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann is ‘bang out of order’ for his transfer comments about Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The Wales legend added that Antonio Conte should ‘ring’ Nagelsmann for publicly expressing an interest in Tottenham’s main man and make his feelings clear towards the 35-year-old, as he told talkSPORT.

Bayern’s CEO, Oliver Kahn, has already stated that it would be a ‘dream’ for the club to sign someone like Kane, whilst Nagelsmann was equally been as appreciative of the player in public. – all after the club sold Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

There’s no way Kane goes now because he has Champions League football season to look forward to and a season where he could end his trophy drought under Conte.

But what has been coming out about Kane in recent times from the German champions hasn’t impressed Saunders, who shared what Conte should so, as a result.

“I could see Conte’s raging,” said Saunders. “Bayern Munich are bang out of order. You don’t talk about other players like that and unsettle players.

“I have been a manager, you don’t speak about other players when they are under contract with other clubs. Speak about your own players. You can say ‘Harry Kane is a terrific player. I would love to have him. But he’s not available’.

“But talking about that in the media, then I can understand Conte’s frustration – If I was Conte, then I would ring him up.

“I would say ‘listen, do me a favour. I have just spent six months persuading Harry Kane this place is going places and trying to win things. And you have gone in and thrown that in out of nowhere. Don’t talk about my players’.

“It would definitely turn Harry Kane’s head. Instead of thinking about scoring two against Rangers, now he has got ‘Oh, Bayern Munich want me’.”

MIND GAMES FROM BAYERN?

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Bayern are playing mind games ahead of next summer, when they will probably make their move for the striker.

They have probably seen Kane be eager to leave before and think he would be interested if they came knocking.

Well, a number of things have to fall for them for that to happen, number one being next season not going as planned for the Premier League side.

Then, the England captain wanting to move to Germany and being keen on a move to one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

And someone like Daniel Levy hasn’t been mentioned yet because he is as stubborn as they come and he would want serious, serious money for his player, even then he still wouldn’t let him go.
