The Miami Heat shipped off Tyler Herro to the Milwaukee Bucks in a blockbuster trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The move solidified Bam Adebayo’s status as the franchise’s cornerstone star alongside the Greek Freak.

It may come as a shock to many that Tyler Herro was once viewed as the next face of the Miami Heat. Speaking of Herro and Adebayo, the two NBA stars apparently engaged in a physical altercation in Las Vegas.

Shams Charania says Bam Adebayo punched Tyler Herro in the face

During the Heat vs. Bucks Summer League face-off in Las Vegas, all eyes were on Adebayo and Herro, as the two stars met for the first time since the biggest trade of the offseason.

While Herro claimed he had nothing but love for the Heat, it seems like Adebayo didn’t reciprocate that sentiment.

But what was the primary reason behind Adebayo losing his composure and punching his former teammate of seven years? NBA insider Shams Charania explained in a separate tweet.

“The altercation occurred at a practice court in a Las Vegas hotel this morning, sources said, starting when Adebayo approached Herro about comments the guard made critiquing the center on social media after their seven-year run in Miami ended,” Charania wrote.

The social media post in discussion could be the one that Herro posted a few days ago on his IG story, where he shared a list of NBA players with the lowest FG% on midrange shots.

It featured the likes of Antetokounmpo and Adebayo, which probably made the Heat stars angry at Herro.
