The West Ham United man was a reported transfer target for Leeds United.

Speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic ruled out an exit for Ashely Fletcher, leaving Leeds United disappointed in the process, as quoted by Press Association reporter Andy Sims via his official Twitter account.

The 21-year-old hitman made the move to West Ham from Manchester United in the summer, on a free transfer, and has impressed with his overall performances, despite scoring just one goal for the club.

And Garry Monk has been heavily linked with a move for Fletcher throughout the course of this month (Daily Mail).

But, the Whites look set to miss out on the Hammers striker, after Slaven Bilic told reporters that he will not be sanctioning any kind of exit for Fletcher this month.

Bilic’s comment must surely now mean that he has big plans for Fletcher this season, as he looks to guide his side back into contention for the Europa League places.
