The Ghanaian is all set to join Swansea City this month.
Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew seems to be on his way out of Villa Park. The Ghanaian international is set to join his brother Andre’s former club Swansea City in a swap deal that will see Neil Taylor head to Villa Park.
He is currently away on international duty with Ghana at the African Cup of Nations, where he has been given some stick by critical Ghana fans.

But his form has been good at the competition and his international coach Avram Grant has spoken out in defence of the player.

He is quoted as GhanaWeb as having this to say about his performances at the competition so far:
“Jordan is having a great tournament. He gave a great assist to Asamoah Gyan against Mali and scored a great goal against DR Congo in the quarter-final.

“Also his performance statistics are great and they show he is running a lot. He is answering his critics on the pitch.”
Aston Villa fans certainly know about the inconsistency that appears to plague Ayew’s game.

One minute he can look like a world beater and the next he is ineffectual and on the periphery of the game.
Swansea fans however will be hoping they can get the positive side of Ayew’s game as the club look to survive in the Premier League under the management of Paul Clement.
Ayew will need to be in his best form if they are to do so.
