
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to Duncan Castles’ claim that Spurs have been offered the chance to hire Julian Nagelsmann this summer.
The German has reportedly been on Spurs’ radar for some time now, but this is the first we’ve heard of him actually being offered to the club.
Whether or not Tottenham choose to act on this remains to be seen, but based on the fanbase’s reaction, this is going to be a hard decision for Daniel Levy.
Some fans seem to be on board with Nagelsmann taking over, and that makes sense, after all, he was voted as the third best manager in Europe last term.
However, others weren’t so excited about the prospect, with a couple of fans comparing him to Andre Villas-Boas, seemingly due to his age and lack of experience.
We can understand where they’re coming from, Nagelsmann has never won a major trophy in his career, and he’s only 33 years old, so replacing one of the most successful managers in history with the German seems like a very big gamble.
We certainly don’t envy Daniel Levy for having to make this decision.
