Mal James lives in Merseyside and first went to Anfield out of curiosity in the mid 1960’s. He watched a player named Peter Thompson run rings round defenders, and was hooked. He has supported Liverpool ever since, although he appreciates any team that tries to play good football. He does not dislike any particular club because of its name or that fact that it may be a rival to Liverpool. He is currently a Wigan Athletic season ticket holder because Liverpool season tickets are like gold; and he likes to get to a match regularly.
