Over the last five years or so, Austin Reaves and LeBron James formed a brotherly bond as teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers.
In fact, LeBron James has played a crucial role in supporting Austin Reaves in his journey to becoming a true No. 2 star for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Unfortunately, for the Purple and Gold, for the first time in his NBA career, Reaves will enter the court with James by his side next season as the 41-year-old has announced his departure from the Lakers.

Austin Reaves says LeBron James ‘ruined’ his day by announcing LA Lakers departure
In an exclusive interview with The Post, Reaves shared what he was doing when James announced his plans to leave the Lakers.
“I texted him and told him I was having a great day on the golf course until he ruined it,” Reaves said.
Upon being asked about how much the 4x NBA champion means to him, Reaves gave a rather blunt response.
“I don’t have enough time to explain how much he means to me and my career and what he’s done for me,” Reaves stated. “There’s nothing but love and respect. And when he comes to LA, I need to see him out on the golf course. Maybe play a couple holes or something.”
Reaves is a known golf fanatic while James is just getting started as evident from fans mocking the King’s golf swing multiple times.
But even then, Reaves wants to enjoy playing some golf with his former teammate when he comes to LA in the upcoming season, albeit as an opponent.
