The Aston Villa ace has proven to be a sensational signing for Aston Villa.
The Villans shocked world football in the summer, when they brought former England captain John Terry to the club, upon the expiration of his contract with Chelsea, and he explained how he felt intimated being the ‘new’ person at Villa Park, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The 36-year-old hit the ground running immediately following his switch to the west Midlands outfit, impressing every time he took to the football pitch, but is now unfortunately set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines after breaking a bone in his foot during Villa’s defeat to Sheffield Wednesday nine days ago.
Terry, who earned 78 caps for the England national team, has brought a certain level of passion and leadership to Steve Bruce’s Villa side that was evidently lacking last term.
He admitted that he was far from comfortable when making the switch from Chelsea to the Villans, however, during an exclusive interview with AVFC.co.uk:
“It was really intimidating being the new person, the worst thing about it was the song. For two days I didn’t sleep!”

Villa currently sit in sixth position in the Championship table, nine points adrift of league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Bruce will be cursing the fact that Terry has been ruled out until February, as his side look to cement their place inside the top six.
