Here is the latest transfer news coming out of Villa Park as the club reportedly set their Douglas Luiz price tag and are interested in an Atletico Madrid defender.
Douglas Luiz
Starting off with outgoings and the player who has been heavily linked with a move away from Aston Villa this summer is Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz.
Arsenal and Juventus have been credited with an interest in the former Mancheser City midfielder and The Mirror have revealed the price that the Villains have set.
The report states that Villa have told interested clubs that it will cost them £50 million if they are to sign the 26-year-old this summer.
With Villa having to abide by PSR rules this summer, a big sale may be needed.
Mario Hermoso
A new defender looks to be one of Villa’s priorities this summer and a move for Atletico Madrid‘s Mario Hermoso has been mentioned.
According to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, Villa are interested in the Spaniard but will have to sell players before they can buy which gives the other interested party, Napoli a ‘strategic’ advantage.
Napoli, who are in regular contact with his entourage, are offering a three-year deal worth €3.5m per year, according to the report. Hermoso’s request is higher, but the Naples club continue talks with his camp.
Villa may well need to get a move on if they are to sign Hermoso.
Tammy Abraham
AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham is the next player to be linked with a move to Villa Park this summer.
Abraham has had a previous spell at the Midlands club and according to a report from Voce Giallo Rosa, Unai Emery’s side are keen on the Englishman again.
West Ham United and Leicester City are also interested according to the report with the Italian giants seeking £25 million for the forward.
HITC have reported that several top Premier League clubs are keen on Ollie Watkins so having a contingency signing in place, may well be a good idea.

Denzel Dumfries
The future of Polish right-back Matty Cash is uncertain with reported interest in the defender from AC Milan, a replacement will be needed.
According to Calciomercato, Villa’s sporting director, Monchi, has already identified a replacement with Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries the name that the club are keen on.
The report states that AC Milan are interested in Cash and therefore the Midlands club have turned to Inter for a replacement.
Villa have contacted the entourage of the Dutchman, according to the report with the right-back keen on moving to the Premier League.
