Aston Villa and Newcastle United want Boubacar Kamara – and he has now admitted that he has already picked his next club as he prepares to leave Marseille.
The end of the season is in sight and that means one thing – the start of the summer transfer window.
Rumours are already ramping up and you can expect to see Aston Villa and Newcastle linked with many players.
Steven Gerrard wants to re-tool the Villa squad and there will be plenty of comings and goings to make that happen.
As for Newcastle, PIF’s investment means they could splash the cash this summer with more quality singings like Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimaraes.
Aston Villa and Newcastle United want Boubacar Kamara
The two clubs have been linked with some of the same players of late and Kamara is one of them.
The Marseille star is out of contract this summer and is set to leave on a free transfer.
Kamara was born and raised in Marseille so leaving his hometown club will be a very emotional decision.
Kamara has now been quoted by RMC Sport as saying that he has made his decision and he will be leaving.
There won’t be long to wait for Kamara’s new club to be announced either as the midfielder claims he has already made his choice on a new employer.

This is where Villa or Newcastle could come into the picture.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that Villa had held a new round of talks with Kamara in hope of sealing his signature.
Yet the Northern Echo have also suggested that Newcastle held talks to sign Kamara on a free transfer.
Add in links to a whole host of other Premier League and European clubs and Kamara’s next club is unclear.
Villa boss Gerrard is desperate for a new anchor man and his influence on potential midfield additions can’t be ignored.
If we had to guess, we would make Villa favourites for Kamara right now – and today’s comments may just gets fans excited about a possible deal.
