Leeds United have been linked to Aston Villa pair.

Leeds United have been linked with a double move for Aston Villa pair Ross McCormack and Tommy Elphick, according to the Sun’s printed edition on Tuesday 23/1 [page 55].
Aston Villa reportedly value the pair at £7 million, and if Leeds United pay up this sort of money, the Midlands club should snap their hand off.
A move would have to wait until summer, with McCormack on loan in Australia, and FIFA rules mean he cannot play for another side this season.
In Australia he has re-discovered his form, scoring into double figures, showing why both Fulham and Villa each paid in excess of £10 million to sign him.

McCormack has had a difficult time at Villa and clashed with manager Steve Bruce, and this summer is the perfect time to cash in on him.
The former Leeds captain left in controversial fashion, making clear his displeasure at the previous Massimo Cellino regime.
Yet he has always insisted upon his admiration for the club and remains a fan of the Whites. Burned bridges can certainly be repaired, with Leeds fans just this week discussing their desire to bring him back.

Tommy Elphick is another player in need of a new start, and the experienced centre-back would be an asset to the Whites, having previously captained Bournemouth to promotion.
Liam Cooper has not been reliable for Leeds this season and the competition for places should be welcome.
Leeds would benefit from the double deal, but for Aston Villa this is also a great opportunity to gain much needed funds for two players not in their first team plans.
