Richard Keys has suggested on Twitter that Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa should make a bid of £50 million for Manchester City attacking midfielder Jack Grealish.

The beIN Sports presenter has said that Grealish has not been a success at City.

The former Sky Sports presenter believes that the England international attacking midfielder will not make Pep Guardiola’s side a better team.

Keys has said that Villa, now managed by former Rangers boss Gerrard, should bring the 26-year-old back to Villa Park.

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City paid Aston Villa £100 million in the summer of 2021 to sign Jack Grealish (The Guardian).

No Aston Villa return for Jack Grealish

In our opinion, Villa are not going to bring Grealish back from City.

Not in the January transfer window anyway.

We do not think that the Villans will want to bring back a player who left just a few months ago.

In our view, Grealish is unlikely to leave City now anyway.

Yes, things have not been great for the Englishman at the Etihad Stadium, but it has been only a few months.

We think that Grealish will eventually come good at City.

The City no. 10 has scored two goals and provided two assists in 13 Premier League starts so far this season.
