Portuguese outlet O Jogo report that leaving Atletico is now the “most likely scenario” for Felix after he was spotted training away from his teammates.
Felix enjoyed an extended summer break after reaching the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 with Portugal, but he returned to training on Friday morning.
However, instead of being integrated with the rest of his teammates he was instructed to train alone in a one-on-one session with a fitness coach.
It is often a tell-tale sign that a player is heading for the exit door and it could provide a huge boost to Villa’s chance of landing him.
Felix arrived in Madrid with huge expectations after his £113million move from Benfica, and while he has shown glimpses of brilliance he has struggled to perform consistently.

Pundits have warned Aston Villa that Felix could get Unai Emery sacked, but the Spanish manager has so far managed to get the best out of his players during his stint at the club.
