Leeds United have been awarded by FIFA for their actions against Aston Villa.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa’s fair play against Aston Villa has been awarded by FIFA.
Bielsa decided his team should allow Aston Villa to score an equaliser, after Leeds had scored a controversial goal themselves.
The Championship clash made international headlines, and Bielsa’s side were honoured at FIFA’s annual The Best awards gala last night.
Not everybody is happy with the decision however.
Derby midfielder Mason Bennett took to Twitter to describe the award as a ‘liberty’.
Aston Villa supporters are not impressed either, despite benefitting from Leeds’ decision.

In the same game, Leeds striker Patrick Bamford was caught play acting and received a retrospective two match ban.
Leeds also received a hefty fine from the EFL for spying in the same season, and Villa fans were quick to point both transgressions out…
